{"id":1081,"date":"2007-06-05T10:04:00","date_gmt":"2007-06-05T15:04:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lawrencem94.sg-host.com\/?p=1081"},"modified":"2007-06-05T10:04:00","modified_gmt":"2007-06-05T15:04:00","slug":"foodie-fotos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/plazajen.com\/?p=1081","title":{"rendered":"Foodie Fotos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last night, we had homemade pizza for dinner:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/plazajen\/531542503\/\" title=\"Photo Sharing\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1005\/531542503_46c7403aa0.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" alt=\"Homemade Pizza\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I usually make the dough from scratch, but since I&#8217;d bought extra bread dough for the calzones I made a few weeks back, I thought, hm, I&#8217;ll just thaw that &#038; try it out. It was pretty good &#8211; it wasn&#8217;t as pliable as my dough, and I like the chewiness a fresh yeast bread has. That said, I loaded it up with spicy sausage, vidalia onions, black olives &#038; mushrooms, and it was quite yummy!<\/p>\n<p>On Memorial Day, I made spring rolls. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/plazajen\/531542421\/\" title=\"Photo Sharing\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1401\/531542421_8c7b3d4a2c.jpg\" width=\"333\" height=\"500\" alt=\"Spring Rolls\" \/><\/a><br \/>These are a lot of work, and I still have a long way to go on learning how to roll them as well as they do at my favorite Thai &#038; Vietnamese haunts.
